slr camera, digital camera zoom
There's really no question that Americans are camera-crazy, whether it's the new digital camera zoom lens-equipped model, or an old-fashioned SLR camera that actually takes pictures on film. Personally, I prefer a SLR camera even though the new digital camera zoom models are easy to use and take really clear pictures that area easy to manipulate to eliminate things like the dreaded "red-eye" effect. To me there's just something magical about using a SLR camera to take pictures and then waiting to see how they came out when they're finally developed. It's probably silly and old-fashioned to think that way now, and believe me, I'm not knocking digital photography. I even own a digital camera, along with every camera accessory known to man, including camera bags and even an extra camcorder battery or two. But I grew up learning how to use a SLR camera that uses actual film and that's what I still prefer to use, even though digital cameras are great for taking pictures on the fly or when you need to see them in a hurry to help you with a project. All cameras are great for unleashing people's creativity. I just prefer the SLR camera.
