camera bags, camera accessory The battery life of an SLR camera to a handheld video camera could always be longer then they are. How many situations have you been in when the camcorder battery gets down to the empty flashing point before you are done shooting? I know it has happened to me more times then I can count. During high school I was in a video production class about every semester I was there. Our group spent many hours outside of class filming videos, music videos and short documentaries. One of those documentaries was about street racing in our area. During that time, I was 16 and obsessed with fast cars. The local street races went on every weekend until the early morning hours about 45 minutes away from where we lived.

With camera bags in hand, a tripod camera accessory and charged battery we set out to film some of the action for class. It was going great, we had all sorts of footage from the Jack in the Box parking lot everyone met in. Following a group of cars to an industrial road, we readied the tripod and set the camera. With some solid footage of a couple races, I noticed the low battery light flip on. Rummaging through the camera bags, there was no extra battery and I missed out on filming a imported right hand drive Skyline R-33 race a motorcycle which would have made the movie.
