Camera bags are a great way to keep your camera safe and secure while you are traveling. Of course, you do not have to be traveling to keep your camera safe. Each year my town hosts a huge Fourth of July celebration that includes a four day fair, parade, tremendous fireworks show, and a demolition derby. Since I got my digital camera I have always captured as much as I could of the kids and different events. We enjoy looking through them when we get home.

However, this past year, while at the parade it started raining. The rain come down very hard, but we still stayed out and enjoyed the time. My camera didn't like the rain so much. It didn't work all that great the rest of the day. I told myself that I was going to look at camera bags when I got home.

That night, even thought it was close to midnight when we got home, I started looking for camera bags. At at website called Electronic Photo Gadgets, at www.electronicphotogadgets.com, I found a bunch of different camera bags that I thought were great. I didn't want a small camera bag, but something that I could keep a lot of my equipment in. So, I decided to order a M-4 Waistpack, Khaki. It looked pretty cool and the price was really good.

Now that I have my camera bag, I will never go without camera bags again. During a trip to the beach recently I realized there were six reasons why I love camera bags. It looks really cool on my hip. This new camera bag from Electronic Photo Gadgets was also easy to carry. It just slipped on my belt. My camera was always close to me! This was a plus for those quick shots that I wanted to take. Usually, my camera is laying somewhere else at the time. Camera bags keep them close. My camera didn't get wet! With what happened to my other camera, I didn't want the new one to get wet again. I could keep all my stuff in the same bag. Extra lens, batteries, and SD card all fit great. And, with camera bags, I feel more like a real photographer!

Ok, that last reason is a little lame, but with a camera bag I feel like I am taking better pictures. I find myself taking a lot more of them now too. Probably because my camera is always near me and I can take quick shots as things happen. Now I know that I will always have a camera bag around when I use my digital camera. They are just too useful.
