Catching Real Emotion with Digital Camera Zoom |

One of my favorite times to whip out the camera and go in for a digital camera zoom is during sporting events. Athletes especially at the pro level showcase skills many of us dream of having, which is why we are a world who covets them. Getting a cool action shot at an NFL game, action sports event or for the lucky people with tickets at a 09 MLB playoff game is a great addition to any portfolio. Using the digital camera zoom to get right up into the helmet or face is a cool way to capture sports emotion. It is debatable but I don’t think there is not another place other then maybe Hollywood sets where people on the job show more emotion then athletes.
Capturing these feelings with a digital camera zoom can create a powerful picture. Obviously it can be tough to get super close ups when players on a field or moving fast through a stunt but it can be done especially with SLR camera equipped with a digital camera zoom lens. A long way off, when I’m a dad my kids are going to have a whole collection of close up action shots taken from me on the sidelines of little league, soccer and football games.
