digital camera zoom, slr cameraI just learned that I can order a digital camera zoom lens for my son's camera, so that's what he's going to find under the tree this Christmas. He has my old digital camera because I upgraded to an SLR camera so I can pursue my love of photography at a deeper level. However, the camera he got from me is a good one, and it's worth getting a digital camera zoom lens for. I didn't know that the manufacturer of it made zoom lenses for it, otherwise I would have ordered one a long time ago. The existing lens goes to 105mm, but I want to get him 200mm digital camera zoom lens so he can start taking more diverse shots. Getting good shots of animals is much easier with a zoom lens because when animals are unaware of the human presence, they are much more likely to not flee or change their activity. Taking pictures of pets or wildlife is a lot of fun, especially with the right lens. My son is a big animal lover and once he can start getting great shots of them, the sky's the limit for what he can do taking pictures of them.
