I have been looking all over the place online for a new camera bag for my digital SLR camera. I might be the only person using a SLR camera who has this problem but for whatever the reason I have a difficult time holding my SLR camera steady while taking shots. To solve this problem I have been online looking for camera accessories to help with this issue and I found the solution. A compact tripod SLR camera stand for mounting my camera on. The tripod I am looking at folds up into a next, compact package and will fit easily into my camera bag and then when I am out photographing wildlife, scenic views or family picnics and barbecues I can pull out the tripod. Unfolding and extending the legs of the unit to the right height, mounting my camera and taking clear pictures will now be a snap, literally. The funny thing is my daughters who are both into taking photos suggested I try a camera tripod a long time ago but I pretended I did not really need one. They were right, as they usually are, so now I am going to order my own tripod from a great online web site I found.

My wife and I have been shopping around and looking to get our hands on some new SLR camera digital picture frames for the bedroom. A Bratwurst Fury While Putting The Camcorder Battery To Good Use

Some people have a list of things they never leave the house without and in our family the first thing on the list is a camcorder battery. Since we bought camcorders for everyone in the family last year, the camcorder battery has become our favorite friend. Whenever we leave the house, our little eyes are looking around for any opportunity to take out our camcorders, zoom lens and extra camcorder battery out and get our camcorder creative juices flowing. This past summer we were just driving around town after stuffing our bellies in the local buffet and we passed a street where a bunch of people were gathered in a circle. Our camcorder senses were awakened and out came the cam with the extra camcorder battery. As we walked over to the party, with our spare camcorder battery at full attention, we found that it was none other than a bratwurst eating contest! The neighbors told us that this was something they did every year and they only allowed people that lived on the street to enter and we were just in time. The battle was full of bratwurst fury and we even put my mom’s camcorder battery to good use and we powered an extra can we’d brought in order to get a good angle--it was awesomely delicious.

There are some lessons that I have learned in life about always being as best prepared as you can be. One of those lofty lessons is that you never want to be without a spare camcorder battery, because you never know when you will run out of juice and be faced with that dilemma of not being able to shoot the footage that you want to when you want to. That being said, this was learned quite well by me a few months ago when I went to Las Vegas with my best friend and we were using our camcorders so much that the batteries ran out on them. That was when I realized that I could have really have been better prepared with a spare camcorder battery on my person, or on hand. Needless to say, with another vacation looming to Long Beach towards the end of this month, I will not make that same mistake again. After my Las Vegas fiasco I ordered a new camcorder battery online and it is has already arrived. This time I will be armed with a spare camcorder battery so I can keep shooting the adventure as it unfolds!

I love using my digital SLR camera for a wide variety of different events, namely family events, like birthday parties, get togethers, celebrations and especially over the holidays. The most recent thing that I used my digital SLR camera for was for my sister’s birthday dinner, a really nice dinner that I cooked for her when she came over this past Monday. I made some great cowboy burgers on the grill outside, she brought her dog over to play with mine, and we popped some beers and had a really great time together. My mom was over too, and it was just awesome to take some pictures of my sister smiling using my digital SLR camera and watching her unravel the, quite literally, pile of birthday presents that I got for her that day. Now, since I have the pictures already taken, I have had the time to edit them and transfer them over to my digital picture frame in my living room. Indeed, yet another party adventure preserved forever thanks to my digital SLR camera!

I am so excited for the end of this month because I am heading to Long Beach to see my younger brother for my birthday, and I am going to bring my digital SLR camera with to capture all of the awesome events that transpire when I over there visiting. I plan on getting some serious partying time in, as the big 30 is no joking matter, and after being around on this wonderful planet for thirty years I am really ready to get things kicking once I get to Long Beach. Aside from the many awesome things that we have planned for my trip out there, we are going beach hopping; which will provide for some awesome photo opportunities for my digital SLR camera. Once I get back home – and I will be out there for a week – I will transfer all of my digital SLR camera photos to my computer and edit them, before using my USB cable and easily transferring them to my awesome Memorex 10" digital photo Frame. This year I'm working toward buying a digital SLR camera. I have been wanting one for several years now and I've been doing my research on them. I used to use an SLR film camera that I have long since abandoned because digital photography is the best, and I'm not going back to film photography for many reasons, the first of which is the cost of film and developing. My dad was a great amateur photographer and he said that if one picture out of 100 was a good one, I was doing good by photographic standards. I can believe it, too.

I watched a documentary that some National Geographic photographers played a role in and they reported that they would go through many thousands of rolls of film for a single photo shoot, but now with their digital SLR cameras, the expense related to the film is gone and they can shoot as many frames as they have storage space on their memory cards for. And the quality of digital SLR cameras has equaled what 35mm film cameras are capable of taking.

I want to get back to serious photography and the digital SLR camera is the way to go. I have missed taking photographs with different focal length lenses. I have a set of lenses for my film SLR camera that will work on a digital SLR body, and I want to get back into the challenges and potential that's out there for taking digital pictures using an SLR camera again. I can use my new camera bag as a purse once I get the SLR, and get a larger camera bag for it and my existing lenses, so there's nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Camcorder Battery Charged for Car Show

There is going to be an antique car show in the neighborhood I live this Friday. Amongst the many young people living in the apartments, town homes and condos scattering the area there is a large demographic of older people in the nearby neighborhoods; older people who love classic cars. Hardly a day goes by walking down the street where I don’t see a rat rod, 1950’s beauty or piece of American muscle. The car show is part fun and part to raise money for local charities. It’s free to walk around with all the donations coming from raffle tickets.

Car events are my favorite time to bring the camera bag out, make sure the camcorder battery is charged and save memories of autos from yesteryear. It is amazing how many contemporary cars pull lines off what old classics used to look like. Everything is recycled, I guess. My digital camera zoom works best in these types of situations. When a car is just sitting there looking pretty it is easy to take a great picture. I’m sure a lot of the cars I see driving around will be polished and pristine for this show.

I am one of those people that you could say loves to take photos, and I always have my camera bag in my car just in case an event calls for shooting something that I can remember and cherish forever on my awesome digital camera! My camera bag really comes in handy for many different reasons too. For one, the camera bag safely houses my expensive and feature loaded SLR digital camera that I would just cry over if I damaged it. For another reason, my camera bag also allows for me to easily tote around some essential camera accessories that I like to use, like a few extra lenses, the spare batteries in the event that I run out of juice, and of course, a spare flash memory card so that I don’t run out of room and have to delete photos on my camera in order to take some more. Indeed, my camera bag is something that I would easily state is an essential part of my photo gear—and I can’t imagine taking my camera anywhere without having the camera bag on my person!

SLR Camera Ready to Capture Super Bowl Win

The Super Bowl is going to go one of two ways where I’m watching it. The first would be the Saints win and people like me throw up their arms in celebration for a team who proved they are one of the latest forces in the NFL. If this happens my friend hosting the party could start crying. I don’t know. He for one put a bet on the game and two probably goes to sleep with a Peyton Manning doll. He has been a fan of the Colts since Manning won his first MVP. He is calling this Super Bowl just another walk in the park for Indianapolis. After he went on a rant about how Manning is the best quarterback in history, I said a prayer so the Saints would win.

Coming to the party will be a SLR camera and if we are lucky a camcorder battery for the mini DV my buddy has. Our hope is the Saints win and we capture the host’s reaction as it happens. If the Colts win, his reaction should be just as insane. Either way the SLR camera is coming out with some funny photos.

I wish that life had a fast forward button, because it if did I would easily be in the month of May by now, which is when my wife and I are heading out for an amazing ten day vacation to beautiful Hawaii. I plan on taking plenty of photos while there with my digital SLR camera, and I will, of course, be taking my digital camcorder along as well. This time around, unlike during our last vacation to Las Vegas, where I shot so much footage that my camcorder battery kept dying on me, I am going to make sure that I take a spare camcorder battery and a charging kit with me for the trip. I will also make certain that I have an extra camcorder battery with me at all times, as I have never been to Hawaii and this is going to be what I deem the vacation of a lifetime, one that we have been saving up for to go on for several years now. Thanks to handy photo taking and digital video shooting devices that I will have with me while there, the memories of this awesome getaway will be preserved forever for my wife and I to cherish!

Digital SLR Camera a Dream Come True

I had been hoping for a new SLR camera for Christmas, and I got one. When I opened the box, I found an Olympus EVOLT E-520 Digital SLR Camera inside, and I was just thrilled. My SLR camera came with a 14-22mm lens and I was glad to get one with such a wide angle because I want to get back into architectural photography. In fact, I brought it along with me when I went to downtown Phoenix with my sister to pick up her race packet for a marathon, and got some awesome architectural photos of the Arizona Center. Those photos, along with her race pictures, are a good record of the fun we had during the marathon and the day after.

Having a SLR camera means that I'll be collecting new camera lenses down the road and eventually I'll have to get a camera bag for all my SLR camera gear. My EVOLT camera takes up to 10 megapixel photos and the body is rated for underwater use, something I probably won't try, although it might be interesting to get some shots from the bottom of the pool in the summer. My next camera lens will be a digital camera zoom that will let me shoot in a macro mode, all the way to mid-range. Next to architectural work, I love close up work. When I was using my film camera, I would go through roll after roll of film in the spring capturing the beautiful wildflowers of Arizona.

Now I can shoot frame after frame and get immediate results when I take out the card and put it in my computer. I can't wait for the flowers to start blooming. By spring, I should have that lens and I may even buy some flowers from the grocery store if there aren't any blooming in the yard when it comes. Could Have Used an Extended Camcorder Battery

Over the weekend, all of my roommates made the trek 50 miles southwest to see some friends. With us was a camera to film the wild events bound to happen after getting there. Right after sitting down one of my roommates pulled out the camera. After taking a couple seconds to film the scene, she realized the whole thing was coming in fuzzy. After adjusting the levels, the video still was not as clear as it should have been. The problem was the camcorder battery was near empty. It didn’t have a enough juice to capture anything and we didn’t have the charger.

It was a real bummer because there did turn out to be a lot of video or photo worthy moments like during the Guitar Hero competition or while dancing at a local bar. Two words come to mind, crazy legs. It wasn’t my camera but for future reference I directed my roommate to an online retailer with great prices on a new camcorder battery. Something with a little bit more juice. After awhile a camcorder battery loses the ability to hold its original charge. Not a problem though with all the web based deals.

I swear there is no end to to the number of products that they make for digital SLR cameras, and when I was doing photography gigs, I would have wanted this particular camera accessory big time. It's a portable media player designed especially for professional photographers. It works like a computer that plays video, audio, and supports JPEG and RAW formats. It's not a cheap camera accessory, but for the successful photographer, I would imagine that it could be an indispensable tool. Time is money and the cost of this camera accessory would probably be absorbed quickly by the efficient use of time in the field while on a photo shoot.

What really attracted me to the Epson P-7000 160GB Hard Drive Portable Media Player was the fact that the photographer can use the zoom function to check the focus of the photo. I remember that I had to make a few trips back to sites when I got my proofs back that proved to be unacceptable for the client, so just a few of those episodes would pay for this unit. The Epson Hard Drive Media Player supports eight different media cards, which is terrific. It's a hassle to have add ons to a camera accessory when in the field. Sometimes there's enough equipment on a job site already, so not having to add a card reader is a real convenience.

We just got a digital SLR camera and since it works with our existing film camera lenses, I'm going to bring this portable media player up to my family over dinner tonight. We won't have to spend any money on new lenses, so we could slide this into the budget instead. Since it plays movies and music, it could also function as an entertainment device while on the road. This past Christmas I got a new camera from my husband along with a memory card. I have a large SLR camera, but I don't always like to carry it with me everywhere I go and thought that a smaller camera would be great for everyday use. The only problem was, is that my husband said when he was looking at camera bags; he couldn't decide on one that he thought I'd like, so he didn't get me one. On more then a couple occasions, I have used my digital camera zoom as a low powered binocular. The camera I have has a 7xs zoom which works really good for getting right in there during pictures. While at a local hockey match in the area, the digital camera zoom helped me get a better idea of who was on the ice. This was only the second hockey game I had ever been to so the camera had to come along for pictures. I love how this is the only indoor sport where it is generally colder inside then it is outside, at least on the west coast. As for the people in the Midwest and East Coast, a hockey stadium is a big upgrade from the frigid temperatures outside.

Like most matches, there was a quick exchange of blows right on the glass underneath where we were sitting. I wasn’t close enough to really make out there facial expressions but with the digital camera zoom, I got right in there. It was easy to see how much anger these guys were letting loose. It turned out to be another cool look into the world of hockey.
